Internship Program
In an effort to bridge the gap between education and the working world, The Translation Lab offers a mentoring program for interns. Novice translators can acquire hands-on experience in the translation and interpreting industry. Part of the training is to get familiar with the workings of an agency by assisting the Project Managers in coordinating interpreting and translation assignments, developing translation memory, performing supervised translation, editing and QC tasks. Interns will also learn how to utilize Translation Memory tools to compile glossary, create memory for completed translations and leverage legacy translations for a more efficient production.
